On behalf of the staff at Crownpoint Middle School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2023/2024 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.
The middle years are an exciting time when children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. Each year will provide important transitions and the acquisition of new skills that will enhance each student’s ability to apply knowledge in many ways. Crownpoint Middle School’s commitment is to ensure your child’s educational success.
This handbook outlines the general policies of Crownpoint Middle School and Gallup McKinley County Schools. I would encourage you and your child to review the handbook and become aware of the procedures and expectations. If you have questions about the contents or expectations, please contact me or discuss them with your child’s employability skills teacher.
